An Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Day Program provides structured, supportive day-time services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. These services focus on skill-building, social interaction, community involvement, and personal growth.

At Zeppone Caring Hands, our program is rooted in dignity, purpose, and individualized care. Participants receive tailored support in a safe, engaging environment that nurtures independence and confidence.
Serving Adults with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities
Zeppone Caring Hands offers an Adult Day Services Program/Center for adults aged 19 and older with developmental disabilities. Services can be accessed through:

Medicaid Waiver Services for eligible individuals via the NOW/COMP Waiver program, determined by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD).

Fee-for-Service for those opting to pay independently or through insurance.
Program Activities & Weekly Planning
At ZCH, flexibility is key. We create custom weekly schedules tailored to each client’s personal goals, interests, and developmental needs. Families are included in the planning process to ensure a consistent, person-centered experience.
Our weekly activities may include:

Life Skills: Cooking classes, budgeting sessions, personal hygiene routines

Creative Arts: Journaling, arts & crafts, music, and movement sessions like dance

Movement & Wellness: Chair yoga, light fitness routines, mindfulness & relaxation exercises

Community Integration: Library visits, park outings, grocery shopping, and volunteering

Social Enrichment: Group games, themed activity days, workshops, and birthday celebrations
Program Hours: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Transportation is available for eligible clients based on location
